In order to use the home solution, clients employ a Vonage branded VoIP router or a smartphone adapter that connects to their general router or broadband modem. In addition, an upload speed of 90 240 kbit/s as well as a robust quality of solution (qos) optimized connection is needed to make calls without substantial lag or jitter.
